At CPH Privathospital you can contact us as a self-paying patient without prior referral from your own doctor or hospital for an initial examination

If you wish to pay yourself for rapid examination and treatment at CPH Privathospital, we are ready to help you without waiting time. You simply need to contact our secretariat on tel. 7021 8000 and book an appointment for examination.  

There is also the possibility that your employer / company can pay for your examinations and treatment. 

With the exception of medical imaging examinations, a referral from your own doctor or hospital is not required if you wish to pay yourself.

You can simply contact our customer service and book an appointment for an initial examination. You will then receive written confirmation of the initial examination. The consultant will inform you carefully throughout the entire pathway about the price of the examinations for which there is an indication. 

Sygeforsikring Danmark
CPH Privathospital is approved as a treatment facility by “Sygeforsikringen Danmark” and you can therefore receive a subsidy according to current rules. We are ready to help you without waiting time. You simply need to contact our secretariat on tel. 7021 8000 and book an appointment for examination.  

The consultant will inform you carefully throughout the entire pathway about the price of the examinations for which there is an indication.  

CPH Privathospital is approved as a treatment facility by “Sygeforsikringen Danmark” and you can therefore receive a subsidy according to current rules. The size of the subsidy depends on which group you are in and the type of operation. Prior to planned operation you must contact Sygeforsikringen Danmark to obtain approval for coverage of the operation expenses.  

CPH Privathospital has entered into an agreement with Sygeforsikringen Danmark for an additional discount on treatments of 10% – with the exception of cosmetic treatments.  

To obtain the discount it is a requirement that you contact us as a self-paying patient, that is, not via health insurance or following referral from a public hospital. 

General price information

CPH Privathospital collaborates with virtually all Danish insurance companies.
As the insurance companies’ terms and procedures vary considerably, we refer to the respective companies’ websites for further information about using your health insurance.

Payment

Consultations and examinations are paid in cash or by debit card at the reception immediately after the examination is completed before you go home. 
 
In connection with booking an operation, the operation must be paid 8 days before the planned operation date. Payment can be made in cash (however, maximum 50,000 kr. according to the Money Laundering Act) or by bank transfer and must reach us in time.  
The payment date is stated on the invoice. The receipt for payment must be brought with you. 
In case of cancellation less than 3 days before the planned operation or non-attendance, you will be charged a fee of 5,000 kr.  

Non-attendance fee for consultation and examination
If you are unable to attend a consultation or examination, we ask you to contact us no later than 2 working days in advance so we can offer the time to another patient. CPH Privathospital will charge a non-attendance fee of 400 kr. if you do not attend the scheduled consultation or examination, or if you cancel less than 2 days before the planned appointment.
