Being a relative can be a major responsibility. When a person becomes ill, the entire family can be affected both practically and emotionally. Here on this page you can read more about visiting hours and overnight accommodation for relatives at CPH Privathospital

Are you a relative?

On the day of the operation itself, you as a relative are welcome to accompany the patient. In the recovery room there will be limited access for relatives, as consideration for other patients is highly valued. During the waiting time we have a lounge area where you are welcome to wait. CPH Privathospital is located right next to Farum Bytorv, where we can also recommend you take a walk. Farum Bytorv offers many shops and cafés. However, the best and most comfortable option will in all likelihood be to go home during the waiting time – we will contact you as soon as the operation is completed.

It is possible for relatives to stay overnight at CPH Privathospital, provided there are available beds. This costs kr. 1,200 and includes breakfast. Visiting hours

We have no fixed visiting hours at CPH Privathospital and relatives are always very welcome. However, we would recommend that you as a patient speak with the nurses about when you can be expected to be ready to receive visitors after your operation, so that your relatives avoid unnecessary waiting time. We recommend that you limit your visits on the day of the operation, as you often need sleep and rest.

If you have a fellow patient in the room, we ask that you and your relatives show consideration for them.

Internet and telephony

It is permitted to use mobile phones at the hospital, also in the recovery room, but remember to show consideration for your fellow patients and their relatives.

We have a guest network throughout the hospital for our patients and relatives. By enquiring at our reception or with the nurse you can obtain the username and password for our wireless network.  

Please bring your own laptop computer upon admission, as this is not provided.
