What is cosmetic nose surgery?

The course of cosmetic nose surgery

Before the operation you will have a preliminary examination with one of our consultants, where your wishes and the anatomy of the nose are reviewed. The operation is performed under general anaesthesia and takes approximately one hour. After the operation you will have a nasal splint and possibly silicone plates, which are removed at a follow-up appointment after one week.

Healing and expected outcome

After the operation you can expect tenderness and swelling for the first few weeks, but the swelling will gradually disappear. The final result of the operation will be visible after a few months, when the swelling has completely subsided.
