Examination

At CPH Privathospital we offer you a consultation in our ear, nose and throat (ENT) outpatient clinic with a thorough review of your symptoms and examination of your ears, nose and throat with microscopy of the ears and a hearing test. 
 
Based on your symptoms and the conclusion of the examination, we will advise you on what treatment can be offered.

Treatment

Based on your symptoms found during the examination, cleaning of the ear can be offered, possibly medical treatment with ear drops or ointment, antibiotic treatment and subsequent outpatient follow-up. If there is negative pressure in the ear or fluid in the middle ear, you may need a drain in the eardrum. 
 
If there are chronic changes in the ear that can be treated with ear surgery, you will be informed about the options and offered the solution that is best for you. 
 
In some cases, the examination shows that there is progressive hearing loss that cannot be cured with cleaning, medication or surgery.
