At CPH Privathospital, we work every day to improve our sustainability initiatives. We work according to our sustainability strategy, which is developed with inspiration from the UN Sustainable Development Goals and provides an overall framework for the hospital’s contribution to the green transition.

Our sustainability strategy is to set the framework for how the hospital works holistically and committedly with its contribution to the green transition.

The strategy contains 5 main goals, each supported by a number of concrete initiatives.

We have a sustainability committee consisting of green enthusiasts representing different professional groups at the hospital. The committee ensures that focus areas are prioritised and sustainable initiatives are developed and implemented.

Our latest initiative is the elimination of the use of paper and plastic cups, which we have unfortunately been using in very large quantities on a monthly basis.

Instead, we have purchased an industrial dishwasher for this purpose, both to keep up with the volume of washing up, but also to comply with hygiene requirements for particularly high temperatures when washing up.
