At CPH Privathospital we offer MRI scanning, CT scanning, ultrasound scanning and X-ray examinations in safe and professional surroundings.
The examinations are performed by experienced radiographers and consultant radiologists. We emphasise high professional quality, short waiting times and a coherent pathway, so that you and your treating doctor can quickly receive the necessary clarification.

MRI scanning
An MRI scan uses a powerful magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of the body’s tissues. The examination is particularly suitable for muscles, tendons, joints, the spine and the brain.

CT scanning
A CT scan is an advanced X-ray examination that creates detailed images of the body. It can be used to examine bones, internal organs, kidney stones, inflammatory conditions, haemorrhages and tumours, among other things.

Ultrasound scanning
In an ultrasound scan, sound waves are used to create live images of the body’s tissues. The examination is used to examine muscles, joints, tendons and other soft tissues, among other things.

X-ray
An X-ray examination is used primarily to examine the body’s bones and joints. X-rays can also be used for examinations of the spine, chest and lungs, among other things.

Referral for medical imaging
To have a medical imaging examination performed, you must have a referral. The referral contains the information that our specialists need in order to plan the correct examination and send the result to the doctor or practitioner who has referred you.
You can be referred by your own doctor, a consultant, a chiropractor or one of the consultants at CPH Privathospital, among others.
Rapid access to examination and results
We offer medical imaging examinations with short waiting times. After the examination, the images are assessed and reported by a consultant radiologist. The result is sent to the doctor or practitioner who has referred you.
Private, insurance or public patient
You can have a medical imaging examination performed as a private patient, through your health insurance or as a public patient via the extended free hospital choice.
