As part of our sustainability strategy, we focus on resource consumption in procurement and are conscious of fulfilling our social responsibility in relation to CO2 emissions resulting from our activities. 

Our latest initiative is the planning of procurement so that CO2 emissions are kept to a minimum, for example by consolidating deliveries into larger batches. This is only possible because we have a large storage area in our own building.

In addition, we also take further account of actual resource consumption and environmental impact when selecting goods.

When we assess environmental impact, it is based on the entire life cycle of the product, and thus takes into account both the consumption of raw material resources and the environmental impact during the product’s manufacture and subsequent disposal.
